So Very Blessed Thank You Card
This is my first video, so please be kind! I would also like some constructive criticism as well, so feel free to send me any suggestions you have for future videos.
I wanted to make a thank you card, so I first picked out the stamp set I wanted to use. I chose this one by Taylored Expressions, from the So Many Thanks stamp set. I chose So Very and Blessed to feature on the front of the card.
I cut two pieces of Very Vanilla to 4" x 5.25" and used one to stamp my sentiment. I used my Mini Misti to position and stamp the sentiment, twice for good coverage. Once I had it done I realized that I wanted it trimmed more closely.
I have a pad of designer paper from The Paper Studio called Denim & Pearls and found a lovely piece that coordinated with the random blue Stampin' Up card stock I have (I inherited a bunch from someone who was retiring from paper crafting.) I trimmed my card stock to 4.25" x 5.5" and the designer paper to 4" x 5.25".
After adhering the sentiment to the designer paper, I reached for the ribbon from my stash. After further thought, because of the coarse texture of the ribbon, rather than tie a bow, I decided to use a bit of twine to make a bow. This makes it look a little more rustic, which I like. It definitely blends with the look of the designer paper.
After adding the ribbon and twine, I popped it up with some foam tape on the back. Also from my stash I have a container of various little sequins--I think I got it from Michaels. It has all the metallics--everything from white, silver, gold, and platinum. I added some with Glossy Accents that look like more of a rose gold just randomly to add some interest. I think it looks very sweet.
